President and CEO

In modern Japanese companies, "Digital Transformation" utilizing IT technology is the most critical theme across all management challenges, including business transformation, business growth, and the pursuit of efficiency. The rapidly evolving IT technologies, spearheaded by generative AI, IoT, and big data analytics, are increasingly shifting towards a cloud-based model where information is collected, processed, and integrated.

However, as highlighted in the "DX Report" released by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in 2018, many Japanese companies still run legacy systems and outdated ERP systems, a situation referred to as the "2025 Digital Cliff." Additionally, numerous subsystems constructed by different departments and business functions are intricately connected, resulting in high costs for adding new features and maintenance, which remains inefficient. Even in the contemporary theme of ESG management, performance data is collected from each organization and site via Excel and manually consolidated and disclosed by the head office department.

Moreover, in the rapidly growing manufacturing and distribution industries, global management has become the norm. Despite having numerous overseas subsidiaries and locations, the levels of management data, the standards for calculating base data, and the information systems used differ between domestic and international operations. We often hear that making unified and instantaneous business decisions at the global level is challenging.

NTT DATA Global Solutions Corporation ("NTT DATA GSL") was established in 2012 as the core company of NTT DATA's*1 SAP business, consolidating the SAP business from years of corporate system experience within domestic group companies.

With a workforce of approximately 600 employees, we specialize in SAP solutions and are well-versed in numerous products and business areas offered by overseas SaaS vendors. We have many excellent consultants who can lead business reforms at a global level.

Centered on SAP S/4HANA Cloud, our professionals, deeply knowledgeable in each product and business, provide services to many Japanese companies as "One Team, One GSL," including global AMO services, services on the SAP Business Technology Platform, and peripheral SaaS (ecosystems).*2

NTT DATA has approximately 20,000 SAP consultants worldwide. NTT DATA GSL collaborates with domestic and international group companies to continually offer new value and create value through digital solutions, supporting business growth at a global level as a trusted partner chosen by our clients.
