Assessment before implementing archives service
The format and volume of data that enterprises handle grows day by day due to increasingly sophisticated management, informatization, and the evolution of IT technology. While businesses once used expensive hard disks to manage and store data, the prices of these devices have fallen, and many of them increasingly use the ever-expanding cloud for data management and storage.
Customers can choose from the following four construction categories, depending on their environment.
Overview
This service identifies the customer's challenges currently face for managing and storing growing volumes of data.
Analyze the current database and find out what the bottlenecks are.
After performing an assessment, we will make proposals from the perspective of mid- to long-term improvements.
Why archiving
- Avoid deteriorating DB performance caused by increasing data volumes
- Maximize memory usage by deleting old data from the database after SAP S/4HANA® migration
- Reduce downtime when migrating from SAP® ERP to SAP S/4HANA®
Current challenges
- Archiving is necessary, but we don't know where to start
- Which data should be archived? How much effect we can expect from archiving?

Goals
- Understand where data is distributed in the database
- Find which data is to be archived to have the most effect

Process
After receiving data, we analyze it in accordance with our predefined procedures. When the analysis completes, we'll have a meeting with customer based on our analysis report.
Challenge
Customer need to reduce the ever-growing amount of data from databases, but it's difficult to know which data occupies how much disk space.

Assessment before implementing archives service
Send us the data customer want analyzed and we'll analyze it through our own methods.

Deliverables and results
We'll collate the analysis results in a report identifying the data to archive.

Results and costs
Once we have data, we'll analyze it and create a report in about two weeks.
The report explains how much of database each module is using, analysis results of the data you have. We provide a simulation showing the effect of selecting our archiving service.
The analysis fee is 600,000 yen (excluding tax) per database.
